Microblading vs Combo

Microblading is a way to instill semi-permanent pigment Into the skin to create natural looking hair strokes. Combo brows are exactly that! A combination of machine shading and microblading. There are a few different variations of this and preference can be discussed at time of appointment.

Not sure which service is right for you!? No worries! I set aside the same amount of time to discuss your preferences at the beginning of your appointment no matter which option you book!

Lip Blushing

lip blushing is a two part process.

During session one I will outline the lips and implant the pigment throughout.

6 weeks later you will come back for session two which involves going over the lips again and implanting more pigment over the already healed pigment.creating a bolder perfectly “blushed” lip.

You will be swollen for about 2-3 hours after your appointment but swelling goes down the same day.

Day 2: your lips will appear a bit darker.

Within the next couple of days you’ll have mild scabbing; sort of like a really chapped lip. It is very important to let the scabs fall off naturally and to NOT pick! This will affect your end results.

Throughout the entire healing process you will keep your lips moist with Aquaphor.

Everyone heals differently an will go through the healing stages differently!

*AN IMPORTANT REMINDER*

if you are prone to cold sores often, I recommend taking Valtrex one week prior to your appointment and for one week after your appointment. You can also take Lysine over the counter as a preventative as well.

Further advice

After the initial procedure your brows will appear almost perfect, but this will change. Please be aware of the healing stages to avoid stressing about your brows. Your brows will go through several stages where they will become darker, then will become scabbed and itchy, and finally will almost disappear (ghosting stage), before finally healing to between 50% and 70% of their original depth.

Once you have gone through a full cycle of skin regeneration (4-6 weeks) most, but not all, of the pigment will remain.. It is necessary to schedule a perfecting session (touch-up) to complete the process.
